For Donations and Expenses, we maintain two separate accounts, namely ZAKAT FUND and FREE FUND.

ZAKAT FUND is utilized for those Muslim patients who are eligible for Zakat.  For this our management committee properly scrutinize and confirm the patients’ eligibility for Zakat.

FREE FUND is utilized for non-Muslim patients who are poor and needy and cannot afford to buy the services or the medicines.  For this too, our management committee first check their background properly.

Our Hospital’s annual expenses amounts to 0.6 million USD.  It is increasing year by year because of the rising cost of living.  Now that we have opened a HAEMO-DIALYSIS unit, expenses are bound to jump up.  Right now we have three machines in operation for the said unit donated by philanthropists. Besides we have standing offers of donation for more machines by other donors.  The running expenses are recurring expenses and are expected to be 70,000 USD per year.  It is impossible to cope it with our regular budget.  We desperately need more funds to cope even with our present expenditure.
